THERE IS NO RIGHT OR WRONG WAY TO PRAY - GOD will always hear you
Catholics were not the first to use beads for prayer. Although the exact origin of prayer beads is unknown, men and women of many faiths and cultures (Hindus, Greeks, Buddhists, and more) use beads to pray. The word bead in English actually comes from the Old English word "Bede," which means prayer. The use of prayer beads is universal, which helps a person to keep track of the number of prayers that have been said while concentrating on the deep meaning of the prayer itself.

Did you know that the Rosary is a powerful weapon against evil?
It is believed that in 1214, Dominic had a vision of the Virgin Mary. It is said she presented him with a string of beads and special prayers to recite through her intercession. The Rosary continued to develop over the many centuries, but it quickly became Dominic’s greatest weapon in the spiritual battle against evil. It also transformed his life and mission. Dominic grew an incredible devotion and love for the Blessed Virgin Mary and her Rosary, and shared this knowledge with the Dominican Order, which he founded. The Dominicans promoted the Rosary throughout the world, and still do to this day!
